A Brief Introduction to Jacksonville Christian Academy
Jacksonville Christian Academy is a ministry of Bible Baptist Church here in Jacksonville Arkansas, just minutes from the Little Rock Air Force Base. We are dedicated to giving students an excellent background in academics, as well as personal character training taught through the principles of God’s Word. Daily Bible lessons are a part of the regular teaching schedule, and God’s Word is incorporated into each class or subject to develop the students’ understanding of self-discipline, and to create good habits. The goal is to cultivate a superior education and a godly Christian life.
Our mission at Jacksonville Christian Academy is to assist parents in their God-given responsibility of educating their children by providing the highest-quality spiritual and academic program, while encouraging children to live obedient and Christ-centered lives. With love and diligent training, we will help you produce a successful student and a tremendous citizen.
Students will receive a strong foundation in academic areas of reading, writing, arithmetic, phonics, grammar, science, health, history, government, geography, and computer skills. A mastery of the core curriculum is essential for every student, and it will be pursued as such. We use the ABEKA Book curriculum, which is the world’s leading college preparatory material. JCA adds to the curriculum such things as today’s technology needs and marketable skills mandate. Older students take classes in Music, Fine Arts, Keyboarding, Computer, Foreign Languages, Personal Finance and Doctrines of the Bible.
